Nuffield Science for Public Understanding

Examinations

The examination papers for modules one and two include a number of structured questions of varying length to assess candidates' understanding of the topics, ideas and concepts in the syllabus.

Each of the two written papers lasts for one and a quarter hours.

All the questions are compulsory. The variety of questions used includes comprehension, data analysis/response, and the need for answers written in continuous prose. Some questions are chosen for the way in which they present material in interesting contexts, incorporating understanding of the appropriate science ideas and concepts.

Past papers and mark schemes are available on the AQA website.
