Ideas about science pages relate to sections 12.1 to 12.5 in the specification, the ideas about science that are one of distinctive core features of this course. For each of the five main ideas there is an overview, a list of useful web links and links to activities on the site that develop particular ideas.
Teaching and learning pages describe generic teaching approaches such as 'small group discussion' or 'evaluating a newspaper article' which are less likely to be used in traditional science teaching, but are an important part of SPU. Each method is linked to activities which use the approach described.
The coursework pages include some ideas on resources, checklists for students and links to activities and learning methods which support coursework skills.
The Textbook pages include information about the book and answers to the questions in the textbook.
